What have you bought recently?

Purchased some "under cabinet" lights with motion sensors, not to be used under cabinets; rather, to use to light a stairwell. They seem high quality. Can't install them until the work in the hall/stairwell is finished.

Rechargeable AA batteries for my stationary recumbent bike. If I stop peddling all progress data is lost.

remember the breadmaker I bought earlier in this thread? Haven't gotten it yet but i happened to check the order and noticed the price was $10.00 more than what it showed on the listing page?!
Amazon customer service gave me a credit by saying a bottle of Tylenol I'd ordered last time had defective packaging. Okay. Whatever works.
Hope that's the last hassle with the breadmaker. Delivery delayed till Monday.
So Amazon lied about the reason for the refund ?.. WoW!! Instead of just returning your extra payment because of overpricing.. they lied,... incredible!

I use 4 double pointed needles. The old way, but there are new ways to knit socks from the toe up, or with circular needles which I find very confusing. Four needles gives a round seamless sock. Don't get impatient wit the 4 needles. Easy peasy.
Thank you @dusty :)

I have some of the double pointed needles. I will have a go in the New Year :)

Today, I 'bought'.. new Gel nails at the salon.... then coffee at the coffee shop... then one bag of groceries at M&S...

..and some fabric covered storage boxes with lids... were delivered today that I bought yesterday...

I just bought some new distance specs for night driving... got 30 % off.. so they cost just £107... total..

I'm excited to get these yellow night lenses, because night driving is a nightmare with these high res oncoming light and beams from other cars..particualrly in these narrow country unlit roads...

i got them online from a Spec company I've used in the past.. they're so much cheaper than getting them from the Optician.. and in fact I think they're better quality as well.. than the Opticians...

Finally found a pastry blender at a dollar store. It’s not great quality. What you’d expect for $4. It’ll still be better than using knives. Now we’ll have to wait and see how long it is before I get around to making biscuits.
I knew as soon as I found one, I’d find a much better one at the thrift store. Sure enough, there was a really solid one for $2.50. I walked down the aisle, turned around and someone had bought it. :ROFLMAO:

The place was really busy with folks searching for Christmas *paraphernalia. I picked up a couple of small stands to elevate my angel collection.

*I had to look up the spelling. All these years and I’ve saying it without the r.

4 Amazon orders from Cyber Monday are supposed to arrive today. Just ordered these 3 below. I've owned and lost over the last decade plus, at least a half dozen small digital voice recorders, that always manage to eventually pop out of my pockets since they are so tiny. Have had enough of that so will put some creative thought into creating a 20 pound monofilament fishing line lanyard. Will also create one for the Pixel case since it is very smooth and slippery and will be handling it while riding ski lifts.

My guest bedroom is not very big and has a double bed and many other things because I don’t have any storage in my small condo except for three closets. I’ve had a double bed in there that’s 15 years old and I had to buy an egg crate topper for it to be comfortable for my friend that sleeps there every Friday night.

So I decided it was time for a new bed and that I would get a twin bed because it would give me a lot more room in there. So I went shopping and bought a twin bed and boxspring, as well as new comforters, pictures, hamper, etc. The bed arrives on next Wednesday and I’m very excited as everything else is here and I think it’s going to make a big difference in that room.

I decided that when my son and his fiancé come to visit from Vietnam, I will just give them my bedroom and sleep in the twin bed. That was the only reason I had been keeping the double bed. They only come once a year for a couple weeks so it was silly.

Since I no longer have any need for anything that fits a double bed, I sold everything including the sheets, comforter, etc. on marketplace. I had everything including the bed, etc. priced at $100 and got a really nice message from a young guy that said he could only afford 40 and didn’t want to insult me. I had other people wanting to buy it, but I sold it to him because it sounded like he needed it. When he arrived, I could see that he was disabled and driving an old car so I was really happy that I held it for him.
