What have you bought recently?

I looked at my online stores, I do not think we have that Artic Zero Ice Cream here.
Let me know how it is @HoneyNut. I did not know they could ship ice cream.

I eat several plant based products:
Breyers Non Dairy Vanilla Ice Cream
Helman's Plant Based Mayonnaise
Country Crock Plant Butter

Plant based and/or gluten free products are good for most people who have stomach or digestive problems.
One just has to try different products to see if they like them.

Lately I have not been able to get a lot of my items from the store delivery.
My soup prices went up 50 cents a can since the last time I ordered. In one week!
That is unheard of! I have watched prices go up over the years but not by 50 cents in a week!

I know why!

Watch out that trash can does not go beserk and attack you @Knight.
Thanks for the warning. Not sure if this unit would be associated with AI or a friendly robot. As a precaution I think I'll tell my wife to not put any trash in there that stinks. That automatic lid closing could be dangerous.

Nah I was just picking on you @Knight.
I looked at those automatic lid closing trash cans in the store, I did like the way they snapped shut, so I never bought one.
At my age I need to be careful, I would hurt myself.

🤗

Bought a haircut this morning. In the afternoon while killing time when my husband got his haircut, I bought a jar of quince jam. I don’t know what a quince is, let alone what it tastes like. It just seemed like a good idea.
Never heard of quince jam. What's a quince?

How to make home made Quince Jam - Hunter Gatherer Cooking HGC 3.17,ims

The quince (Cydonia oblonga) is an ancient, aromatic pome fruit native to the warm-temperate regions of Asia and the Mediterranean, closely related to apples and pears. While ripe quince fruits are hard, tart, and astringent when raw, making them generally inedible without processing, they possess a intense floral scent and transform into a tender, ruby-red delicacy when cooked.

I love trying new things like that, @Jules. I bought tinned branzino from an online store once because I'd never had it.

@hollydolly, I totally understand about the lamps. Those are a weakness for me for some reason.

I just bought kitchen twine, for a recipe I plan on trying (chicken breasts stuffed with goat cheese and baby spinach), which I had a bit of a hard time finding here. I also bought a pair of real (brand name) Keds tennis shoes. I've been wearing an off-brand bargain pair I got at Target, but they look clunky and cheap. I've been working a lot lately so decided to splurge. (I'm trying not to dwell on the fact that I consider a basic bair of shoes a "splurge.":ROFLMAO: )

I just bought a new keyboard for my desktop. I need to get a laptop soon, so when my old keyboard died I wasn't willing to shell out $100 or more for a new one. I cheaped out and got one for $11.

Well, that was a classic case of "you get what you pay for": My wrists have been hurting because the keys were so hard to press.

I found one for about $30, and it's much better. :)

The metal mending plates I bought last night have arrived now,... they're a lot more weighty than I expected them to be so that's good news...

I've got to drill them into the edging wooden planks on the borders...... I won't do it today.. instead I've just stood them back up, and steadied them with house bricks to prevent the animals from knocking them down again..

I have a feeling it's probably the hedgehog family climbing over them which has knocked them down..

Also a pair of heavy duty Plant hanger hooks...

Really pretty plant brackets! You could hang a plant and a windchime on them. Are they for inside or out?

Outside..... (y)...and guess what I've just been and done ?.... I know I said I wouldn't butttt... I've joined the edging planks with the mending plates.. drilled into the wood then attached them with the screws.. and the planks are now very firm and solid... much easer than I thought it was going to be...
