I spend a lot of time on SF and reading. Sometimes chatting with my dog breaks up the day nicely.

I've been nappin a lot more.I have taken up feeding birds on my back porch. I have even found a forum here for "birders" and that helps a lot. I had to buy a couple of feeders, found one, and bought another! I have more feathered pets and every morning they come by to eat breakfast. Some fight over it and some even see if they are too big for small feeders. Cats stop by cause there is a mouse nearby. I am thankful for those cats, they catch the mice! I love finding new hobbies and now that the weather is bringing snow, things change as far as the water goes. There will still be water.
Well, I like to get out and either just do something or serve by volunteering. And now, the surges are scaring me back into staying in the house, wearing a mask even in my car and while outside. I have developed a route in my house where I walk to get in 8,000 steps in the morning and then go about my day getting in the other 2,000 steps just walking around. I just can't sit still, well I did and gained back 10 lbs. and eating more desserts and cookies. I am a healthy person who LOVES sweets and fried foods. So, I am determined not to get diabetes if possible by just doing my part (most of the time).I've been nappin a lot more.
Might I ask why you wear your mask in your car?Well, I like to get out and either just do something or serve by volunteering. I just found my grandmothers wedding announcement in the papers. Ancestry is always adding new stuff. I was really excited.I am never bored. I spend a lot of time on household chores and these days they take twice as long due to mobility issues. I watch videos, especially ones for home decor for studio apartments or cooking ones. I love to try new recipes or make my own. I write a blog and do a lot of research on that since I changed my focus from homesteading to being a woman over 60 (I have to write what I know). I love working on Ancestry and can spend hours on my family tree. I listen to music every day, especially when I am cleaning. I read, I color in adult coloring books (which is something new I just started doing), do those word search books, write in my own journal and write a little bit of poetry (for myself not publishing it or anything).
I have had to pretty much give up walking till my hip is fixed. So sad.Well, I like to get out and either just do something or serve by volunteering. Probably same reason we do now. If you touch it, you might get a heavy viral load on your hands. So we wear it, go everywhere we need, and throw it away at home, and wash the hands really good. Although not trying to speak for anyone but me.Might I ask why you wear your mask in your car?

Is it still pretty bad there? A lady friend of mine said it was really bad a few months ago. Has it worsened there?Took our powerboat out on local lake a few times this past summer. No mask needed or required by State Park. Neither of us are readers, but love watching movies (ours) and some on tv, like Deep Impact, and shows, like Gunsmoke and Westerns with Audi Murphy. Also, Sunday NFL games and PGA Championships (especially when our favorites are in: Ricky Fowler, Roy, Phil and Tiger). I'm lucky, my wife is a big fan of NFL and PGA.
We do miss the things we moved back to Colorado for..........rodeo action, State and County Fairs, the Elk "rut" in RMNP and eating supper at local C&W Nightclub that had live bands.
A number of things have been cancelled that we loved to go to when we lived in Colorado before.

Well, I had to do that because I had a total knee replacement. I was eager to get to walking again, but do the therapy first.I have had to pretty much give up walking till my hip is fixed. So sad.
I am outside my own environment, plus I would have it on already when getting out of the car. Just a little bit more I can do in staying safe.Might I ask why you wear your mask in your car?
