What imaginary job would you like to do?

Instead of the occupation you are (were) in, what imaginary job would you like to do? Whatever your imaginary job, you have the ability to do it.

I was a Certified Psychiatric Nurse. And yeah, I enjoyed doing that. But I think it would have been fun to own and operate an arena/theater. Ya know, like those casino venues. Only a lot better. Booking only the best acts. When the huge red velvet curtains parted, it would be THE place to see stars. Well, at least in my imagination it would be.

Well, up until THIS election season, I wanted to be the one who came down the aisle before the state of the union and shout "Ladies & Gentlemen, the President of the United States" Then I would go off and drive a zamboni

I thought about becoming a professional poker player when I retired....but, I probably couldn't stand the long hours and days of playing in a tournament, so I just enjoy playing for 2 or 3 hours when we go to the casino.

We sometimes spoke about this, as you do, and came to the conclusion that we would both have been perfectly content to be inependently very rich and not done any work.

When I was a kid, we had to take a test , which supposedly would predict what job you were best suited. Mine was radio announcer. I thought about it. In the 60s, the radio guys, who played the top 20 were "Gods". I still remember WBZ's "Juicy, Brucey Bradlee". The top 20 was easy-they were all Beatles songs.

I would loved to have been a mountain ranger in my local region but even been born In Wales can't speak.Welsh and that was one of the requirements.

I always said I'd like to be a professional bra-fitter. I mentioned this ambition to a good friend who happened to own and run a ladies dress shop and he said he would hire me for that. He did caution me that most of his clients were older fat ladies, not the Victoria's Secret models I was dreaming of. When push came to shove, I really didn't want to do that.
:D:D

Private pilot licensed to fly world wide with wealthy clients that would pay my expenses for as long as they vacationed where ever they went

Drummer in a big band. Like the bands back in the forties. Glenn Miller, etc.

Now this sounds like fun! I would like to be a piano player for a rock band, or maybe a background singer for a lead singer like Tom Jones, Neil Young, James Taylor, or so many others...

Knight, That would have to be a COMMERCIAL pilots license, not Private.

Otherwise, your clients would have to pay you "Under the Table"; so to speak.
Under the table works for me.
