What is in your fridge today?

It's crammed
Just enough room for my water jug on the second door shelf
It's my only spot
I have two water jugs, just so that spot remains mine

Everything else, I have no idea
I'm not let in the kichin much
However, it's canning season
So, I'm beckoned for transferring of heavy pots at times
That's when I have a quick look around

Oh, my sriracha is next to my water jug

Among other things, bananas! Yes, bananas! I was having such trouble this year with them seeming to turn brown within hours of getting out of the bag. A couple of weeks ago I’m desperation I put 4 in the fridge at just right color. They stayed that way all 4 days! Tasted fine! Have repeated a couple of times since.
I think that old saw about not putting bananas in the refrigerator was to get people to buy more when theirs spoiled faster at room temp. I

No bread. I'm going to Trader Joe's today. I need to get some extra for the freezer and then I can toast that. I feel deprived without bread.

I've literally eaten toast for dinner when I was broke. But I wasn't deprived. I had bread. No bread, no matter what I eat and I feel deprived.

Plus I think, at least on some things, Trader Joe's is holding at some good prices.

just added a small cheesecake for company arriving later, also refilled salad fixings.
