WHAT IS IT?

Something used in dentistry. OUCH!!

It does look like a type of dental forceps?

Probably used to extract a tooth?

You folks are just TOO much!

DING! DING! DING!

We have TWO winnas!!! First and second answers, to boot!

It's called a dental tooth key and was indeed used to extract teeth, the revolutionary design allowing the hand holding the instrument to also tighten up the mechanism on the tooth.

Congrats for an amazing win to both TICA and Michael for knocking this one out of the park!!!

... and SeaBreeze, I suppose in a pinch it could also be used for cracking those pesky nuts. :D

I was watching an older Storage Wars last night, and sure enough, there was some old medical equipment and there it was. Phil's tooth extractor, just like the picture. :pepper:

Cool beans! I wish I got that show on our service - I might get some extra ideas.

MMmmmppphhhffffmmmtttttss,,,,,!!!

Oh, go ahead, say it ... we KNOW you WANT to! :p

Note to Self: I don't know why I'm having so much trouble with pictures here. Now I can't get my animated GIFs to animate. It should be simple enough, and Lord knows I spent enough on my advanced degrees. I'm not stupid, at least in basic computer tech. It just seems ... I don't know ... there's a Devil on my shoulder ...

Okay, problem solved! Here you go, TG -
