What is it that everyone likes but you don’t?

Mexican food of ANY kind including Tex/Mex. I can't even abide the smell. With all the Mexican restaurants springing up in my town, everybody must love that stuff except me!

Peas. Something about the texture. If I eat a bowl of soup, you'll find a pile of peas on the bottom of the bowl when I'm done. Everyone said my mom made the best split pea soup...I'll never know because I never ate it.

Growing up we had a huge Irish Setter who ran loose all day and ate like two horses at dinner time -- a big pan of all the table scraps, several scoops of dry dog food, a can of dog food. roaster drippings, and anything else in the kitchen. He always wolfed it all down and left the pan shining clean -- unless there was a pea in the mix. It would stand alone at the end just like your bowl!

Seems most members have replaced "What is it that everyone likes but you don’t?" with the much less meaningful, "What is it that a majority of people like but you don’t?" Of course in normal conversation significant numbers of people habitually abuse in like ways when they use relative terms like: everybody, always, never, every time, no one, nobody.

So in that vein, what I don't like that MOST people do, are those in conversation that habitually use exaggerated relative terms that is often something they've done since they were kids especially when arguing or making a point. Mommy...Billy always wins. I hate him! (Billy won most of the time playing Old Maid.)

Some things I dislike that MOST others do would make for a much longer list than few others. As someone that grew up during the counterculture revolution, I tended to dislike much about mainstream society and culture and many of those things still do not. However waste little time feeling emotional about any such things as tend to live by "Live and Let Live". Well as long as whatever does not directly negatively affect society or this person.

political news media
media political correctness
out of balance materialism
dominant Wall Street greed and their dominant Ivy League elitism
endless growth and development destroying our rare precious fragile blue water world
societal acceptance of littering
in casual conversation for no reason, the F!@# word
most historic long running favorite TV situational comedies
sex baiting media advertising
almost all automobile advertising
pornography
Internet entertainment news media

I agreed with most of the things on your long list, but not this one. I still like shows that take place in only one space, like Barney Miller. I think tv suffered greatly from the proliferation of cell phones - really makes good dramatic plots a lot more difficult. What I do find most annoying about old sit coms now is the laugh tracks. For some reason, shows that didn't annoy me previously really turn me off with the laugh tracks nowadays.

Most children initially speak using absolute terms. Most grow out of it. (-:

You are lucky!
Ha!!...well don't get me wrong football (soccer) is huge here, as is Motor racing.. but it's not in the classroom... IYSWIM... and you don't generally get soccer moms as I believe they call them in the US...who will kill the next soccer mom for their little Johnny to be able to get in the first team etc.. and the pressure on some of these kids to perform at the highest standard ..

Sport here generally is how it should be everywhere .. something to enjoy either as a participator or a spectator , not a lifestyle..

From watching the home buying shows where they get excited because they have a place to barbecue, I'd say it's barbecuing and eating grilled food. People I know like it also.
Love your new avatar! Yes, I hate anything to do with barbecue; the smoke smells from the grill, the nasty sweet sauce which ruins a perfectly good piece of meat, and that same smoky taste on everything else. I also don't care for potato salad, candied yams, and clams.

Kale.

Those kids that wear their jeans or any pant half way down their a@@. They look like they're about to fall off!
I so badly want to tell them they'd be really well liked in prison w/pants worn like that, but then I think twice about it. :)
My father worked in a prison, and he told me that when an inmate wore his pants like that, he wanted to be "well liked."

Seems to be a lot of okra bashing here.

I really like okra, one of my favorite veggies. Always used to have it in the garden, and tried here in Utah but the climate isn't great for it. I still buy a lot of it. Like it stewed, fried, in gumbo, pickled, most anyway you can get it! Even raw, I used to graze the garden for it...

I don't dislike coffee as much as I dislike people going on about it all the time. "I can't function until I have my first cup," etc.

I am a tea drinker, myself.
Woman after my own heart. I've become a tea drinker too and that's mostly what I have with my breakfast in the morning.

And thank you for the compliment about my new avatar. We feel similarly about barbecue'd stuff but I do love potato salad and candied yams (when they are made right). That deli potato salad just doesn't cut it and the candied yams better be sweet. 😜

Those boys who wear their paints down like that were misled. They think they are showing solidarity for their colleagues who's belts have been taken away from them once they are imprisoned. I'm not beyond striking up a conversation and telling what it really means. :ROFLMAO: @dobielvr
@PamfromTx Starbucks coffee smells the worst..it smells burnt and doesn't taste good at all. I never understood why people make such a big deal about it (I'm not talking about the specialty flavors...don't know about those).
