What is the absolute worst thing you can't stand?

Worst? Naw. People need to think more broadly. Just including things that actually happen to myself or most us. Most of those things members have listed are trivial compared to:

The real physical pain of having an abscessed tooth up in my head that begins misery on a Friday evening without any hope of getting off on the weekend dentists to do anything till Monday.
OK, this has to be THE absolute worst thing in Human experiences. Been there.

I pulled an abscess tooth for my dad just one time. It was over a weekend and the backup dentist wouldn’t pull an abscessed tooth. Dad said the VA was too far away. He got his pliers, 2 towels, a box of gauze pads and a bottle of JD. Dad wasn’t used to drinking. He drank so much, he couldn’t do it and told me to do it. At first I refused, but he was in terrible pain.

He gave me instructions and I did it. Once I broke the nerves loose by twisting the tooth back and forth, the tooth came out fairly easy. Just as I pulled it out, mom came through the door. She wanted to know what’s going on here. I told her I was performing oral surgery.
Dad bled like a stuck pig for a good 10 minutes. What a mess.

Dad had to talk me into it. I didn’t want to do it, but the pain he was having kind of forced me into doing it.

Dad said “You were a Marine for crying out loud. Pull the tooth.” I told him “Yeah, I am a Marine, not a dentist.”
He said, “Well, today you are, so let’s get on with it.”
My dad was a coal miner, the old pick and shovel kind. He used to crawl around on his belly deep underground and shovel coal faster than the guy outside the hole could load it, he'd often end up burying himself inside and have to wait until his partner cleared it out. If he was going to pull his own teeth no one was going to tell him no. He never asked any of us to help, thank God, and we didn't stick around to watch either.

Snobs.

I've never had patience for a snob. I can get along with Kings and Paupers...but I'll be passively-aggressive to a snob all day long.
