The alcohol content is the main attraction, the taste is acquired. I prefer Cutty Sark Scotch nowadays, IMO smoother than the common whiskeys and bourbons. What is the appeal of 'Whiskey'
Other than the taste, smell, feeling in your mouth and on the way down, how it makes you feel after drinking, and good friends and cigars to accompany I can't think of a thing! What is the appeal of 'Whiskey'
My first over indulgence was Old Grand Dad bourbon. At age 17 it was the cheapest I could find. A friend and I sat out in the yard with a running garden hose, we took turns chugging followed by the hose chaser until the bottle was gone...I tried bourbon whiskey
Never turned one down!Single malt Scotch whisky
I heard Tex Ritter sing this song way back in the 60s when he came to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and did his performance at the old auditorium that is now our provincial archives. He also sang, "Green Grow The Lilacs." Not sure why I remember this but he must of greatly impressed me. Never, did see Pete Seeger. Too Bad!
Yeah, that's my drinkI like Single malt Scotch whisky.
