What is the average age of the people on this forum

Averages can be calculated only when the Means and Extremes are stable and unchanging.

This means that nobody can state exactly what the average age is, because these parameters are constantly in flux.

I'll make an intelligent guess and say ANYWHERE between 55 and 98.

Read the opening post. It's not important. The discussion is the preferred type of music on this forum.

I have it figured the most popular is the 60's music. Although I am in my eighties I enjoy the 60's music. I don't see anyone liking modern music at all.

Well, I was introduced to doo-wop and Golden Oldies by my oldest brother, 11 years older than I, and it's still one of my favorite types of music. Some of the songs were recorded before I was born.
I also latched onto some of the music my kids listened to in high school- and for that matter, they both liked Oldies too, in addition to stuff from their generations.
I think the only music style I like a lot that I didn't pick up from someone else is folk- never knew anybody who listened to it- Dylan, Baez, etc.
