What is the average age of the people on this forum

70. Will be 71 in November. I look, feel, act, and talk like I'm 20 years younger.... in my own mind!! Oh, I'm not nearly as opinionated as most 70 year olds!! (That comment is for the starter of this thread!!) :>)

Find the age that 1/2 the people are younger than, and half are older than. That's the median.

All you have to do is count. No adding, no dividing required.

I'm with you on math. I hate it too. All those formulas, equations and imaginary numbers make my head hurt. But this ain't math. All this is is grocery store arithmetic.
 
58, will be 59 in January.

My mother never hid her age (she's 82), so I grew up not doing it either, and I imagine my daughter will follow suit.

I'm not that age in my head, so I don't act it either. I'm too young to get old.

On the other hand, my newly-turned 61-year old sister refuses to admit she's in her sixties. I guess I'll be older than she in two more years.

We are now at 43 posting and the average turns out to be 69. I have corrected for Falcon. And I have included Dave A who posted in the old thread.

So that would mean 2017-69=1948 . Music in the teens. Around 1966. So the music should be around the 60's and 70's.

Does that sound about right?

I don't think anyone could guess my age by my tastes in music, unless they already knew my age.
