What is the capacity of your Country's largest Sports Stadium?

I think my old High School stadium held about 1,000, and was never filled that I recall. School was closed and leveled >25 years ago. But the football field itself was the same size as the one at Ohio State or Michigan - 100 yds long + two 10 yd end zones. I forget how wide.

I think high school, college and pro football fields are all the same dimensions.

120 yards long with 100 yards of playing surface and 2-10 yard end zones and 160 feet wide.

The University of Michigan’s football stadium, which is known as “The Big House” and seats over 107,000 fans, but has been known to hold over 115,000 for special events. I have never been there.

We have realized for a very long time that the best seat in the house is in front of the television set.
My feeling exactly. My wife and I were on a ski trip to our favorite Canadian hill just across the border from our home in Montana. Unbeknown to us, a World Cup downhill event was in progress. We stood right next to the track and watched one contestant zoom by us at 70 mph. We saw him for maybe 3 seconds. and then we went over to a part of the hill we had to ourselves, and enjoyed the rest of the day.

I guess attending those things carries a certain "being there" experience, which gives a person certain bragging rights, and I can understand getting caught up in a crowd, but I'd rather watch on the television.
