What is the color of your car?

I'm not sure if it's Marie??? But, I've seen the thread.
For some reason I thought you had a little blue car....I like this one.
I have a Beetle.
I had a White VW beetle when I was in my 20's..hated it... my o/h has a 50 year old Vintage VW camper...it's worth a fortune now.. people have offered him obscene money for it..

Every young kid and their father wants one of those.
My brother wanted one for a while. Brings back their youth.

It was a standard Pale Blue sit up and beg VW Bay camper.. he changed it all himself..lowered it.. fitted it out with new seats and carpeting.. had it re-sprayed red.. Blacked out windows.. Porche Weber Engine... so much money spent on it..

he also has a Maserati....

What is the color of your car,has it been the same over the years?

My current one is white, previous one was blue. The very first car I had when I was 16 yrs old was a copper color. Then in college I had a gross beige/tan color car.

When I lived in Nebraska I didn't see much variety of car colors (mostly black, white, red, silver), but here in Maryland I see lots more variety (probably due to having six times the population). Here there are lots of different colors of blue, and a variety of grays and silvers, in addition to black, white, red. Not many gold, yellow, or green ones, but a few of those I've seen on the road.

I didn't have much choice. I had hit a deer and the insurance company totaled my car, so I had to go with something on the lot.

I only added an aftermarket hatch-floor weather mat and replaced the orange side flasher lenses with OEM clear ones. Still orange bulbs, so it's legal. It felt to me like that made it slightly "stealthier" though.

Here I had stopped to take some quick pictures of Sandhill cranes. Turning back I snapped this photo.

I don't understand that. What do you mean you had to go for something on the lot ?... if the insurance company writes a car off here we get the car's blue book value in hard cash and buy what we want with it..

The car was 16 years old, so the payout was about $600. I wasn't ready to move down to a used moped. :ROFLMAO:

But what I meant was that I couldn't order a specific car or travel out of town to shop. That limited my options once I had settled on a couple of makes and models. If I owned multiple cars or had family close by it might be different because I wouldn't be so housebound.

A pale blue. It’s a pretty colour.

I’ve seen some two tone vehicles around. I think they were Jeeps with a different coloured roof.

I’m not sure what I think of the new paint that appears to be matte with a shiny finish. Does anyone know what this type is called.
