The favorite decade of my life were the 60's which expands my entire teens and a bit more of my life.

To me, they were magical thinking years where all and everything good about my life could and would happen.

What is your favorite decade and why?

My favorite decade was the 50's. All my family were still here. I have such wonderful memories of family gatherings. Fun during the summer playing with my friends. The 50's was a much slower pace, there was time for everything. People weren't always in a hurry or running late as I hear so many say today.

Ditto to both!!! 50's & 60's...

My favourite decades were the 70’s, 80’s, and this decade.
The seventies was when I got my own place which was great, bought my motorcycles and traveled.
The eighties were when I did my serious schooling and serious partying and this decade is so fun being older yet fit & healthy.

The 70's and the 2000's

Daughter was born in the 70's . I got married , got my first house, first car .. also I was a teen for the first half of the 70's and all the best music was then...as were the fashions.. ;)

2000's daughter grown and got her own home, and we bought a second home abroad and lived there for many years .. learned a second language

In the 80s we were able to do some traveling, trips to Europe, cruises in the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera, and a trip to Australia. The kids were in college at that point.

The 70s. Turned 18, moved out, finally got to call my own shots, and escaped my father's abuse. In 1977 I met the man who would become my husband - and still is. ♥

My life began a whole new wonderful chapter in the 1970s. It was a great time to be young, single, female, and living in Los Angeles. Vietnam was over, Nixon was out, and Baby Boomers were still starry-eyed dreamers that believed we could craft a better world. It was a time of endless possibilities.

For me, the first half of the 60's were probably the most carefree....still single, no family responsibilities, and traveling all over Europe on days off while in the military. But, looking back, life has been pretty good all my years. So long as the health holds up, every day/year is good.

I was too young to fully enjoy it, but the '60's was a time of great prosperity and optimism. 1969 was my favorite year.

My early 20s. Got married, got my BS degree, became the father of identical twin boys. Learned to fly (Got my
single/multi engine Commercial pilots license.) Became a teacher as a career. Finally retired .

And here I am !

The 70's, in and out of the military 70 - 78, married in 72, all 3 of our children born in the 70's while I was still in the military. So, yes, I suppose I'd say the 70's. Having said that, there is a lot to say for now, the kids are grown and out raising their own families, I'm retired and just have the wife for a boss now, she's planning to retire early next year, so, I guess I'm saying there's a lot to be said for now too . Don...

2000's....grown kids outta the house and mom here partied her a** off....was in my early fifties, would you believe....best time of my life!

For me, my favorite decade was 2005-2015, that's when I got to retire and no longer had to work, bought a brand new house and a brand new car and could totally enjoy myself.

I loved growing up in the 50's, 60's. I learned to love all kinds of music because of my musical family. Everything was great, the world was my oyster, right up until Kennedy's assassination. I came to realize, then, that the world was not a kind place, and, with apologies to Anne Frank, most people are basically bad, self-serving and self-absorbed.
