What is the first thing you remember ever seeing on television?

RadishRose, me too! Howdy Doody in black and white. I remember the first TV we got, I thought the people were in the back of the TV cabinet doing the shows!
 

We watched Topper too, also My Little Margie, I Married Joan, Life of Riley, Dobie Gillis, etc. I remember watching Queen for a Day with my mother before I started school, even as a kid I'd get a bit teary. :eek:

I remember that show.

A little trivia: I believe that was the show where the fashion commentator, Jeanne Cagney (sister of James Cagney), got pregnant, and there was much hand-wringing as to whether she should be allowed to be seen on TV in that "condition.":rolleyes: They finally decided to let her appear. The good old days.
