What is the greatest lesson you've learned in life?

Live in the present but always have a Plan B. It would seem God laughs at the plans of man. Roll with the punches. Those who make hard plans will find great disappointment in this life. Finally live a peaceful life. Don't chase money or fame. Instead pursue peace and grace. (I'm working on that last one)

I can't say it any better than Skyking said it. Once I smartened up and went after my dream, it all fell into place. I still help some when I can of course but I have lines I won't cross. Life is good up here, nature and that is here, yes even in the virus we are in the midst of.
Have enough to live my life my way, amazing how easy it is to enjoy life when wanting peace and quiet.
I am happy....

Love your post. There are a LOT of trials and tribulations come with living a Peaceful life...whewww. When I feel I am there, something happens to remind me I am not there yet. However, I do have Peace in my heart and that's what matters.

I think the biggest lesson I've learned is what peace and serenity are and how one can bring them into one's life. Unfortunately I was in my 30's before I gained this knowledge.

You were blessed to learn it at the age of 30. I learned it at an older age and still a work in progress for me.

What I found were people that believed they knew it all and had closed their minds to future changes and possibilities.

For me I've changed this to be "Life is too short to drink wine you don't like." I've has some great cheap wine and I've had some expensive wine that hasn't appealed to me at all.
