What is the worse Movie/Film You’ve ever Watched !!

The worst? There are too many to choose just one, and they keep making them. I have a difficult time finding films I want to watch. I'm not interested in horror; there's an unending plethora of that genre, and it's more violent than ever. If it's not zombies, it's vampires; if it's not vampires, it's werewolves; if it's not werewolves, it's aliens; if it's not aliens, it's assassins. Film noir fills the void for me. Thank God these films have been preserved. Decent, well-made films are around, but by the time you've sifted halfway through the chaff, you've fallen asleep on the couch.

There must be thousands and thousands of really bad, stupid, brainless, disgusting films out there. I think the cause is that Hollywood produces quantity rather than quality. There were fewer movies produced years ago but the acting and the stories were better.

I don't like 99% of the movies coming out there. The swearing, the poor acting, the constant suggestive sex scenes and the forever music score just makes me sick.

Consequently, I have learned to watch TV series that I buy from Amazon. My way of thinking is this. If you like 1 year of "Gunsmoke" then you'll probably like the other 19 years. Same goes for the original "Hawaii Five-O." However, if you can't stand the first show or two of Tom Selleck in "Blue Bloods," then it a fact of life you are not going to like him in the 2nd or 3rd or whatever other years the show went on.

Zombie and vampire films cater to the "brain dead."

A couple come to mind;
Loose Cannons one of Gene Hackman's worst movies
The Shape of Water which was boring almost walk out of
Joe vs the Volcano early career Tom Hanks stupid movie

I think the name of it was "Chariots of Fire" Bored to tears.
Sorry, if we’re talking about the one based on the lives of Eric Liddle and Harold Abrams, can’t agree with you One of my all time faves— but to each his own.

whatever the first Muppet movie was after Disney took it over, I didn’t last 30 min in the theater.

Being John Malkovich didn't work at all for me. The only movie I can ever recall turning off before it was over. I'm sure there's some out there that thought it was genius - just not me!
Same here. Neither my husband nor I liked it. Another couple we knew thought it was one of the most brilliant movies ever.

"How Green Was My Valley!" (1941, directed by John Ford) I will always remember this movie as the most depressing thing I ever watched! It won five Oscars, and ever since I have distrusted any movie that won one of those statues! ;)

I’m not into horror movies at all and one night I picked this without realizing it’s category.
Here’s is a complete understated quote about it.

There's no denying that mother! is the thought-provoking product of a singularly ambitious artistic vision, though it may be too unwieldy for mainstream tastes. Read critic reviews

It MAY be too unwieldy for mainstream tastes. 😱 I seriously ‘hope’ this is an understatement. It was very disturbing for my tastes

Don't know. I saw it in, I think, 1960. Old, old movie. is that the same one?
Of course I was a dingy kid back then.

I don't see a lot of movies, especially recently. I couldn't remember the worst ones I'd seen off the bat, but thanks to members I am reminded-

A Clockwork Orange
Home Alone
Being John Malkovich
Water World
How Green Was My Valley
also-
Exorcist II: The Heretic
Night of the Living Dead
Diehard
That movie I saw with Kathy that was so bad I can't remember a darn thing about it

I'll tell what- the ones that have much of the movie shot in about 98% darkness, like The Exorcist. Was sitting in the Long Beach Drive-in trying to figure out was was happening in The Exorcist. Can't see what's going on, the audio was almost 'inaudible'.
Meanwhile, on one of the other screens Midway was playing! It's bright, there's action! I put the car in gear and kind of slithered around into that area, I was done with The Exorcist.

A couple of recommendations
A River runs through it.
Two brothers, Paul (Brad Pitt) and Norman (Craig Sheffer), grow up in Montana spending much of their time fly fishing with their father, the local minister (Tom Skerritt). When the boys reunite years later, they resume their fishing outings and review their lives - where they have been and where they are going.
Mr Holmes
Ian McKellan as Mr. Holmes. This film examines one of the most famous fictional characters through an interesting new lens.
