What is this new RSV vaccine?

That's news to me! Which "vocal political arm dismissing vaccines ... " was that, please? I never heard of it.
I'm surprised you haven't- since we have even in far off Australia

However since we are not allowed to discuss politics, I will not be drawn into doing so.

WOW! Everyone has a story. Everyone has experiences with themselves or people that are friends. Everyone takes this information in and processes it. Everyone comes to their own conclusions as to what is going on, what is safe in terms of vaccines. Everyone speculates on whether they had adverse effects to the vaccines or not. Everyone, than has opinions, advice or "facts" about what they say.
We read, investigate, question and debate about all this information. What is true? Who said it? Where they experts? Do they know more then we do?
Bottom line is you don't know. Let me say it again, you don't know.
The experts make mistakes. The drug companies are making huge profits. The Government does the shuck and dive, which is normal for them.
So many poor decisions, so much erroneous information.
To be frank you don't know anymore about covid-19 then you did in the beginning. Think about it. YOU DON'T KNOW.
Anyone who says they do is just another voice.

If your immune system is good, leave it alone. Vaccines are not going to help. (ie, get the flu vaccine and still get the flu) ???????????
People die with the flu. Past proves that. There are no magic cures but the drug companies can make a fortune on your fear.
If your immune system is working, leave it alone. Take a couple days off, watch old movies and sip chicken soup.
Don't feed into this nonsense that passes as good health information.

Everyone just settle down. The Lord is in charge of all. Just trust in that.

Yes anecdotes and confirmation bias.

Exactly why scientific data uses evidence and double-blind trials.

We do know a lot more about covid than we did in the beginning, as with other diseases. Scientists knowledge is always increasing.

We, the huddled masses, must stop our sniveling and trust you, the elite, to save us and ours because our questions are just too ignorant to be borne, and you have a perfect track record, and you've had your head in a stupid book written by a fool like you, and when you kill us:
Oops, but we know more now than we did --our knowledge is always increasing or at least changing. Now shuddup and siddown, that'll be $20.
That's all fine until you begin to mandate.

^^

are you saying medical knowledge is not increasing or proper research does not use evidence and double blind trials?

If that is what you think you could say so with much less hyperbole.

I'm not sure where this is going. I suspect gruntlabor is being murky in his statement.
Medical research is getting better but it is not perfect or without issues. Most operations are far less recuperative intensive the they use to be and most surgeries do not require 3 and 4 days stay in a hospital. So there have been improvements .........................but these changes take time.
In the mean time we deal with our issues and the time line of research and advancement of procedures in the here and now.
Doctors are not Gods. They are mechanics of the human body.
