Yes, training the new puppy will be fun for sure.Bird watching with friends. Playing bridge. Seeing new places. Travel with friends. Having people over for dinner. Playing with the dogs.
My husband is an avid outdoorsman and hunter, so he busies himself with that a lot. As a couple we go for walks and hikes (in the bush), we go mushroom and berry picking, we regularly visit locales throughout the year to watch wildlife in their nature habitat, and I'm a diehard birder and gardener.I seriously don’t know what would be fun for me anymore. At 74, and with my physical limitations, what could I do that would be fun. What do you do for fun now? What would you do for fun if Covid-19 did not limit you?
I have my fingers crossed for you that you get your certificationThings that interest me. What makes me happy is the journey before the destination. I continue to work hard in preparation for open water scuba diving certification.
Been having intense stomach pains with ongoing body weakness possibly related to Augusts gallbladder surgery. Thursday i get blood drawn, take in stool sample and sonogram. I find these things a nuisance and one more thing to overcome. On the positive side, I may regain my strength to obtain my goal.
if I am able to surpass all complications and finally obtain certification it will be my greatest achievement
It really has. Right now my idea of fun is a very quick trip into the grocery store.Covid has really lowered the bar for fun.
I like going to thrift stores and yard sales too. Haven't done either since Covid.Going to the thrift stores to find a treasure, sharing a bottle of wine for girl talk with a neighbor, the garden, jigsaw puzzles, reading, sewing, crafting, the slot machines which I keep to a strict limit![]()
I should have added, my saying stupid things isn't always done voluntarily(?)I like to say stupid things and see what reaction I get, (amuses me anyway!).
People watching at grocery store is something that has taken on greater significance in my life too recently.......![]()
