What is your favorite “Cherry” type tomato?

Mine is black prince. It has a really good flavor that I have come to love. While it is supposed to be high yield I have found that to untrue in my area. I bought four of them this year and have had to move them three times as they refused to grow in certain locations.

With this last move, they are growing and finally have blossoms. I am looking forward to eating them in a month or so.

Have always ever really known the Tom Thumb variety.
There are over 10,000 varieties of tomatoes, I try and grow several varieties and try as many different kinds as I can. Store bought tomatoes are not very good or flavorful as they tend to be tomatoes that travel well. I’ve never seen the Tom Thumb for sale, have to look for it next year if I remember.

Oh, I agree, Aneeda, in fact, by late fall, I dread the thought of consuming tomatoes and other store-bought produce that has about the same flavour as soggy cardboard.

I love making a simple cherry tomato salad which consists of halved cherry tomatoes, Asiago cheese (cubed), flaked oregano and fresh ground black pepper (to taste), served with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Such a refreshing summer salad.
