The cheapest whole beans I can get at Costco. Or on sale someplace else.

You didn't ask for the worst coffee, but I will give it to you for free, no charge, gratis. I don’t care for any of the K-cup coffees. Some are better than others. Most are pretty bad.

I do not drink much coffee, but still love it. Prefer decaf always.
Folgers Classic Roast is one I also prefer.

Otherwise the occasional double shot decaf latte at a drive through..

I have changed my preferences in coffee a lot over the years. I used to like dark coffee, like French roast, but now find that too bitter and have gone the other way and prefer a light roast breakfast coffee, like McCafe. My husband likes the McCafe Columbian, and it is good, too.
I really like quite a few of the flavored coffees, especially ones with chocolate and raspberry flavor, but also ones like creme brûlée and some of the other fruit or chocolate and nut flavors.

Recently, I started drinking mushroom coffee for the health benefits.
I do have the mushroom powder that I can add, but you need a frother to get everything mixed properly, and some mornings I just do not want to fool around mixing everything up.
Then , I found the Four Sigmatic coffee, and that is my preferred coffee right now. They have several different types, with different mushroom and adaptogens in each kind , all for specific purposes.

It is a delicious coffee, you do not really taste the mushroom additives, and I can just make it and add milk and not bother with mixing in anything else.
A good thing, first thing in the morning.

The only decaf coffee I can tolerate is Instant Starbucks Via. It comes in little tubes, measured. I don't recall the cost but Very expensive. I just happened to find a box of 10 on a Sale table, for just over $2. So I bought it and was pleasantly surprised; it wasn't too bad.

I don't have a problem w/ coffee health-wise, but once in a great while I want the taste of it late in the afternoon or early evening, but then I can't get to sleep.

It was Highlander Grogg. I've been buying whatever is on sale for a long time, typically McCafe, Folgers, or Maxwell House.

Only use K-cups from Angelino's we get on-line.
Our new brewer puts 5 holes on top of the pod instead of one and I set it to the strongest setting.
My favorite is Hawaiian Blend, followed by Moca Java and Colombian Narino.
We buy in bulk and comes out to $.38 a cup. No waste, no fuss.

Drank U.S. Navy coffee for 20yrs and will drink anything ... black
I tend to buy Community Coffee (Cafe Special), Red Diamond Classic Blend.
Tim Hortons is good but I don't have it often. Not sold around here.
Folgers, Maxwell House and 8 O'Clock have been known to sneak into my kitchen too.

Best I've ever had was when doing my own small batch coffee roasting from green beans.
Always better when you make it yourself ;)
I don't do home roasting any more though.

I used to gift friends and family home roasted coffee from time to time and called my coffee ... YALLS COFFEE

The only coffee that was used when I was growing up was Cafe Bustelo.

Café Bustelo Review: Best Poor-Man's Specialty Coffee?

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to drink coffee for health reasons.
I've been buying Cafe Bustelo K cups for my Keurig on Amazon. Also like Green Mountain Dark.

@Radrook , if you don't mind my asking: why the prohibition from drinking coffee for health reasons? Reason I ask: I was told not to drink coffee because of my (then) liver problems. Turns out, coffee can be beneficial.

I was given as presents a bean blender/crusher and a French press. Used it for awhile then got tired of the cleanup.

Exactly !!! ... When I was home roasting, there was all the accouterments, the learning curve, the smoke filled house ... and cleanups.
Now days I just use a plain old simple pour over.

Great thing about my pour over is the covered water chamber bowl on top.
Fill with water that is just below boiling point and let it do its thing.

Making a cup at this moment as a matter of fact ...

2:30 to heat 10oz of water in the microwave
pour into the water chamber ALL at once and cover (the chamber has small holes in the bottom for proper release of water)
Let brew for 3 minutes
Dispose of paper filter and coffee grinds, rinse the pour over out and done
5 minutes 30 seconds total time. Beautiful cup of hot black coffee ... timeless

OXO Brew Single Serve Pour-Over Coffee Maker, 12 ounces, White
... it uses a standard No2 filter
