What is your favorite tea?

I like Celestial Seasonings which was my first introduction to herbal tea back in the seventies. I love their Peach tea and Mint tea. Tazo makes a delicious tea and I use their Chai tea bags. Traditional Medicinals makes wonderful organic teas which I turn to when sick. It's all good. :giggle:

It depends from time to time, which tea I want to drink. I think my favorite is probably the Bigelow Mint Tea, which has the most aromatic fragrance of any tea.
If I am having Chinese food, then an Oolong tea, and if I am just having a cup of tea, then it might be one of the Earl Grey blends, or one with orange and cloves in it.
Sometimes, I like my tea with a little lemon and sweetener and sometimes with warm milk in it, it all depends on what seems good to me at the time.

If I am having a pot of tea, then i like to use the old Hall Aladdin teapot, like my mother used to make tea in when I was a girl.
You can see it at the top of my China cabinet, the yellow teapot on the back of the top shelf.

I drink tea all day long.

Lipton is the world's worst, imo.

I mostly drink a blend of black tea (I like Tetley and Red Rose brands), Earl Grey, and ginger tea....like 5 parts black, 2 or 3 parts grey, and 1 or 2 parts ginger. Sometimes I throw in a bit of turmeric or thyme.

And at least twice a day, I drink 3 or 4 tiny cups of yerba tea, which involves performing a peaceful, traditional tea ritual.

Yerba is imported from South America. I usually buy it from an international market here in Sacramento called Corti Brothers, where they also sell the gourd cups and the alternative wooden cups and the metal straws, but sometimes I order everything online.

I hate perfumed tea.... in the land of the world's most famous tea drinkers..I along with most drink just black tea....

Liptons , Early grey (perfumed tea).. Tetley's ... all horrible to me.. too strong.. I just drink Supermarket sweepings... they are very weak...lol

I like Tetley's breakfast teas. We have few other black tea options here. Lipton is America's #1 brand, but I hate it. It's bitter and doesn't blend well at all with other teas; its bitterness dominates them. It also dominates the tea shelves in stores.

The "perfume" in Earl Grey is bergamot rinds. I like it as a blend with my black and ginger teas.

I think Tetleys' is probably the Number one selling tea in the UK... followed by Twinings, PG tips.. and Yorkshire Tea...as you can imagine in a Tea drinking country...there are endless brands and flavours.. Liptons tea.. tends to get sold more in small corner shops... and amazingly I find it more in the international Aisles of stores in places like Spain & Italy & Greece... and sold in the cafes; and restaurants there...

Interesting.

I like the teas Debra Mae mentioned but didn't know there is a "Celestial Seasonings" Chamomile.

I like to make a winter "toddy" out of green tea with lemon, or lime and I throw in a eucalyptus cough drop.
Sometime I even mix in 1/2 a packet of powdered Thera flu and it helps my winter allergies.

I hate Red Tea- dont know why-it came in a Tea assortment I got for Christmas.

Grew up with Papa's favourite tea, Red Roses. I drank it for quite a few married years. During our travelling contract work years, it was Lipton's and one local store brand I don't remember lol!

Late 90s till recently, it was Scottish Blend. Nowadays, it's PG Tips.
