What is your favorite thread here?

My favorite thread is any one where my friends are posting!! 💗

Since I don't have the time to really follow a certain thread, I do things and bit differently.

Since becoming a member of SF, I have met some of the most amazing people, who I enjoy interacting with and have come to care about.

I have started a list of some of these people (the list got to be so long!!!). When I have time, I pick a name from the list and search to see what they have been posting!

That is how I found this thread, @Pepper led me here! (@RadishRose @Sassycakes and so many other names!)

I truly enjoy my SF friends, most of all

My favourite threads are ones about pets and animals . Humorous threads are great but my ultimate favourite are the ones where we all hemp each other out with caring tips and suggestions on anything but especially how to improve our lives to make this growing old stuff a bit easier. To help soften the edges. To make us feel better even if it’s just a bit. ♥️

The ''What are you doing today'' Thread...
You are up late Holly, hot sticky night?

The, "What are you doing today," thread fascinates me too. It can also make me feel uncomfortable. Reading some of the posts about members who are enduring more than just aches and pains, and others who are so lonely, makes me realise how fortunate I am.

Therein though creates another uncomfortable problem. My wife and I are slowing up but we are still the party animals that we have always been, that thought came home to me today. I have had quite a few text messages asking if we are going to The Hub on the 15th. It's a local venue with a large dance floor. The Jive Aces will be the headline act, they can fill a dance floor like no other band.

So, after heading home from Salisbury, we stopped off at The Hub and bought our tickets. Back at home I made a note of the date on a day to day wall calendar. It struck me that there are not many dates left free. I should be happy and, I was actually smiling when I returned those text messages with, "see you there." But, that thread and this forum has been an eye opener. You are all such stoic and kind people, I am humbled.

I don’t follow any particular threads or sub forums so I don’t have any favorites.

I like the diversity I find when I go to new posts, and just click on what looks interesting.
