Another time, a co-worker and I decided to do some shopping together after work. After I parked my car, I noticed my son's car was parked a few slots away. When we finished purchasing our items, we returned to find my car gone. I nearly had a coronary, but, suspicions crept into my overactive mind. Sure enough, my son's car was still there.
I suggested a drink to my friend, and she thought that was a super idea, considering, she was under the impression that my car had been stolen.
Off to the bar we went, and lo and behold, there sat my son and Godson, imbibing. My son bought us a drink, sport that he is. I was curious as to how he knew I was even at the mall, and, my Godson told me that he spotted us walking in. So, where is my car? What?, declared my son, is it missing? He's such a lousy actor, for he couldn't keep a straight face.
End of story, we finished our drinks and the boys escorted us to my car several aisles away. Yes, we each have a key to the other's car.
