What is your pet peeve or what are some of them?

People who are selling stuff or delivering stuff in the neighborhood and deliberately stop their vehicles -- usually trucks -- halfway out into the road, which makes other vehicles have to go around them. Why do they feel the need to do that?

I was out mowing my lawn yesterday when a white pickup truck stopped in the road in front of my house. There were no other vehicles in front of my house, so he could have easily pulled over to the curb and out of the way of other traffic, yet he stopped halfway out into the road and just sat there for like ten minutes. Then he gets out and asks me if I'm "Mike." I tell him no and keep mowing. Then he asks if "Mike" lives next door and I just tell him I have no idea.

There was no company name or anything on his truck. It was just a white pickup with no insignia or anything, so I wasn't about to help him -- especially since he was blocking traffic.

About once a month or so I see a truck -- usually a van -- stopped in the street blocking traffic, just sitting there. So that's my pet peeve of the day.
 
My pet peeve for today, is people who use the laundry room in my building and spill detergent on the floor and just leave it there. There is a paper towel dispenser right near the washers. There is a sink with running water in the very next room if needed. They just leave it there and it dries to the floor. Sometimes it runs down the front of the machine and they could have wiped it up but didn't.
 
I watched a cooking video yesterday on YT. I used to watch her a lot and honestly, I've gotten a few very good recipes from her. She is young, no more than 30 is my guess but she knows what she is doing. I see she now has over a million followers. However, she said these ones and those ones too many times for me but the super duper twice did it... She does some very good content, not always, but a fair amount, but it was just too much of that way of talking.

Of course, she doesn't know it, I've never said as much any time she does such; however, I did not continue watching the video.

Such was my initial post as to pet peeves, not with her, but even news reporters are doing it now. That many generations have been taught to say these ones and those ones.

Anyhow, felt a bit of a need to vent it a bit again...

It's not the end of the world and plenty watch her because she is good at knowing what content works but...

I have other pet peeves but I'm right back on that original one... And now I'm adding super duper to the list...

My pet peeve of the day is the timing of phone calls I get. I didn't get any phone calls today -- not one -- until I lay down to take a nap. 20 minutes into my nap, I get a spam call. About 10 minutes later, I get another call, which was my wife, so I had to take that one.

It just seems to never fail. I always seem to get phone calls at the most inopportune times!

I bought 16 cans of cat food. There were 4 each of 4 different varieties. I stacked them in groups of four with one of each kind. That way I could grab 2 cans and know they are different so the cats would get an assortment.
Next time I looked on the shelf all the fish were stacked together as were all the chicken, etc. Someone had decided to help me. Some help i can do without.

I had family many months ago, a couple, come up to help with a few things. I'm still trying to find things that I had in places I knew of. They meant well of course and a lot of what they did was a help but if I call or text and say any idea where this might be... They have no idea...

Like your cat food, probably well meant...
