What is your stuperpower? (Stupid Power)

I've just discovered my stuperpower. It's the ability to apparently know when I'm going to need something so I can make sure to throw it out exactly one day before I actually need it.

I've been taking a mysterious part in and out of my junk drawer for weeks. Yesterday, I finally threw it out. Yesterday was trash day. It's gone.

Today, I found out where it came from and what it's for......

Ha ! I had that same stupid power for decades... I keep stuff I have no idea what it's for, it'll lay unused and unloved in the drawer for years until I eventually throw it.. and the very next day or days I discover what it's for....

I've got to learn to trick the drawer..pretend I've thrown something out so it'll show me what it's used for within 24 hours!

Oh, I have that stupid-power too! My other one is going to the grocery store, buying a bunch of stuff and leaving without buying the one thing I actually went to the store for, in the first place.

ME TOO....BUT EVERY SO OFTEN I JUST TAKE A JUNK DRAWER
OUT TO TRASH BIN AND DUMP THE WHOLE LOT IN, THAT
FREES SPACE TO SAVE MORE!!!

I'm saving the planet from plastic bags. I'm a super-hero. I have a bunch of reuseable clothlike bags, so I won't be stuck with a pile of evil plastic grocery bags. I keep them in the front seat of my car.
My stupidpower is remembering I have them, only when I'm at the checkout. And the clerk is putting my groceries into plastic bags.

When I throw out junk, it goes into a super large trash container in the garage, but I never ever take the trash container to the dump. If it fills up, I I go get another trash container. You can rent space in someone else's garage too.

My Stupidpower is buying an item of clothing that is ALMOST right because it’s a lot less expensive than the one I’d prefer, thinking it will do, being unsatisfied with it, finding another and buying it even though it’s not QUITE what I was looking for but an excellent price, and so on over time.

It’s why I have 6 white button up shirts in my closet that look very similar, none of which are quite right and all of which I’m still dissatisfied with, and also out more money in total than I would have been had I bought the one I REALLY wanted that was more expensive!

“Losing” something I really need, looking for it for a week, going to the store to replace it, finding it the next day after I spent the money on the new one.

and it is generally where I put it where I wouldn’t forget where I put.
