What is your Theme Song

I thought they were playing Words Of Love by the Beatles. Same intro....

Omigosh, you're right, @OldFeller! I never noticed that.

I wonder if it's deliberate? Marshall Crenshaw is a huge Beatles fan. His band in high school was called "Astigfa" after the line "A splendid time is guaranteed for all" In "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite." (You probably already knew that. But it's such a cool name, I think.) He also played John in Beatlemania.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Actually, I just realized Words of Love is a Buddy Holly song.

Still a cool observation.

Wow! Coincidences. That was my girlfriend's favorite song in high school and I message her when the lead singer passed away (RIP). Did you know Lisa Fischer re-recorded this in 1991? Not as good as the original but at least she kept it alive!

Wow...that is something! I'm saddened to know that the lead singer passed away. His vocals were so compelling. He was cute too. May he rest peacefully in paradise. The Skylark version is nicer, but Lisa's voice sounds so beautiful and she's singing the h*ll outta this!
