For me:
~Activia Yogurt 12 pack went up from $5.89 to $7.99, so when it's on sale at Costco I can get 24 for a little more than $7.99. Otherwise I buy other brands at a better price.
~A large tub of Philadelphia cream cheese that was probably no more than $5 is now $7.89.
~I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray used to be $2.89 or $3.49 for 12 oz and now it's $5.99.
~I used to be able to get a dozen eggs for 99 cents sometimes or $1.49. Now they go for anywhere between $2.99 to $4.99.

"What Items Have You Noticed Dramatic Price Increases For?"

Everything. Instead of leveling off, prices continue creeping up. I talk to myself in the grocery store. I should say, curse. 🤬 When I see the price of gluten-free bread, I almost pass out. It's outrageous! I was shopping last week and thought I'd pick up a box of GF cookies because I didn't feel like baking. I picked 'em up, gasped at paying $7.49, and put them back on the shelf. I just won't pay that price. I went home and made brownies even though I didn't feel like it 'cause I was p!ssed off.

My lawn cutting service has gone up. Electricity is up. Fuel oil is up. Propane is up. The items I saved on Amazon have gone up. I'll stop there. I need a drink. Oh, yeah, liquor has gone up. 🙄

Hellman’s Mayo. $5.99 is the sale price now. Still too high. Costco has a better price so I force myself to find room in the fridge.

Broccoli $3.97 a pound. Cauliflower is usually $6 each and they‘re small and withered looking.

It's mostly in grocery prices, but that may be because that's where most of my money goes. Gas is going up, but it's not as high as it was around 2000 - 2005, even without adjusting for inflation. So I actually think it's rather cheap. Sure I would like it to be less, who wouldn't, but I think the attention to gas prices misses the other costly items. OK another thing I've noticed going up is building materials. A trip to Lowes or Home Depot is almost frightening. Cars have taken a big jump, but every time I buy a new car, I experience sticker shock, so that's nothing new. A trip to the movie theater and a medium popcorn has doubled since Covid. A family of four can expect to pay $80. Well, two little kids might make it $70.

Cereal. I buy the off brands like Cascadian Farms, Envirokidz, Barbara's. They used to go on sale at the local health food store 2/$5.00. No more. I hardly see them on sale now. Also some Trader Joe's prices creeping up like the organic peanut butter.

I was going to get some Impossible vegetarian meat balls at WINCO yesterday. I think they were around $8.00. I ended up getting Gardein. I mentioned before, I'm really wondering what the berries will be at the farmers market soon.

And yes, everything has gone up for sure.

Cars. May as well face it, cars are transitioning to electric and a good electric ain’t cheap. I’m holding out for a Level 4 electric which may be possible in the next 3 to 4 years. Ouch!

Virtually everything at our grocery stores have gone up between 20 to 50 percent in the past couple of years. For just the two of us, its still affordable, but someone with young kids are probably taking a serious financial hit. The "official" inflation rate of around 8% obviously is "missing the boat" where food prices are concerned.

I stopped buying Hellmans years ago Jules and I was a staunch Hellman's fan; nothing else would do. I buy lite, so one day due to the high price for Hellman's, I decided to try Great Value (Walmart's brand) lite mayo. I have been buying it ever since. Truthfully, I think Hellman's makes it. Hellman's at Walmart is $3.98 for a 26.5 oz jar; GV's brand is $3.19.

I realized years ago that I was wasting money buying fresh produce. Being a lazy cook, I'd procrastinate about cleaning and cutting the veges up and they wound up going to waste. Now I buy 3 pounds of Birdseye frozen broccoli florets for $6.99.
