What Little Things Bug You?

Some drivers make me crazy. :mad-new:

I spend around 7 months in New Jersey and 5 months in Florida.
Some NJ drivers can be aggressive, rude, and downright dangerous.

Florida drivers are much more polite and much less aggressive.

Easy right, the NJ drivers bug me, right?

WRONG!

At least where I live, many of the roads are multi lane roads with traffic lights or short left turn lanes.
On a multi lane road Florida drivers love to drive in the left hand lane.
They may be going under the speed limit by 5/10 MPH.
There may be nobody ahead of them and a 20 car possession behind them and they won't move to the right lane.
To the "Slower traffic keep right" lane.

It's really fun when the cars in the right, center, and left lanes drive side by side, under the speed limit like pace cars at a car race.

Being behind a car at a traffic light in a left turn lane is an experience too.
When the light changes the cars move into the intersection right?

Not in Florida.
You just sit there until there's not another car in sight, then you get off the brake and turn.

Turning left onto a multi lane road, easy right?
The guy from the other direction makes a right into the right hand lane.
You can lake a left into the left hand lane right?

Not in Florida.
You just sit there until there's not another car in sight, then you get off the brake and turn, that is if the light hasn't turned red again.

Sorry Florida drivers, you drive me crazy. :what:

I haven't figured out how to directly reply to a reply. 😂😂 Back biters who pretend to be friends but just want to get stuff started. Instigators are the worst, pitting one against another. That's probably my biggest pet peeve. I've seen so much of it and been the victim too, so it's hard to trust people.

Probably nobody else feels this way, but I just can't stand the sight of bicycle safety helmets!

I would rather risk a concussion of the skull than be seen wearing one of those dumb-looking things!

That's all...

I've often wondered why they are shaped that way -- is there any reason for it? They DO look absolutely ridiculous.

Another thing that bugs me is watching a group of young people on a rollar coaster holding their arms in the air when going over the high loop.

Now what does that prove? Does that make them all daredevil heroes? Can't they have just as much fun while holding the safety bar?

I would like to get a group of people they all respect, and force them watch their real heroes holding onto the safety bar when going over the high loop!

The only things that really bug me concern drivers. There seems to be a competition on the highways now, as to who can be first. All kinds of lane switching, passing on yellow lines, only to turn left at the next crossroad, people pulling out in front of you, barging in on entrance ramps.

Probably this bugs me because I can't avoid coming into contact with people that do that. You have to drive. :eek:nthego:

Me too. If you are going to be hit by a truck do you think those foam things are going to save you?

Fortunately in my nec of the woods those bicycle helmets are mandatory for those 18 years of age and younger.

When you are older you can just go out and kill yourself.

It bugs the heck out of me when people leave shopping carts all over the parking lots instead of pushing them back to cart stalls.

Hey that's what they hire people for. Don't take their job. We have one guy who is so effecitive he scours the neighbourhood for abandoned carts. I don't know if they know it but this guy is saving them tons of money on carts.

People leave them all over the place including bus stops.

Leave it. You are saving someone's job.

6/7/2017 Why in the hell are we so concerned about 2017? It's not going to matter for another thousand years. What's wrong with 6/7/17? or6/7/017
look at the date on your computer.

And people who use store electric wheelchairs, and leave them in the parking lot. And especially when it's raining. Store clerks will get them if you tell them about it.
