What Major or Classic Blockbuster movies have you never seen

I saw Star wars about 100 times.
My buddy was a projectionist at a local theater, I watched Charles Heston make his classic 'death' ride at the end of 'El Cid' At least 20 times when I went to pick up mt buddy. 'El Cid' was not a blockbuster either.

Coming back to the topic, the blockbusters, I think I've watched none of them. No Titanic, no Lord of the Rings, no Avatar, no ... I could go on and on.

Define, 'Major or Classic Blockbuster movies', there are as many lists as there are opinions, & you know everyone has one. Who decides what's CLASSIC or MAJOR? Just my opinion. Hard to stay on topic.

I'll leave.

Forrest Gump--did not see on purpose since I could tell from the hype/ promo it would be offensive.
Independence Day
Saw the first Star Wars, hated it so much I never saw another.
Any Mission Impossibles or so called super hero movies.

Spider-man, Iron-man or any other 'Superheroes' movie.
I've not seen 99% of the Marvel movies either... I did go with my youngest daughter to one of the early Spider man movies.. the projector in the theater messed up and for several minutes the film with either split screen or mangled.... all with a roomful of testosterone-hyped males intent on seeing their hero in action. Nothing bad happened but there was a lot of jeering and yelling... "Not a good time to mess up..." was my thought

What other apartment? I've lived in many places, so have you. This apartment was the wisest financial choice; I own it.
you said you kept an aprtment in nYC while you were travellig all around Europe... but in 1974 that surely was a different apartment to the one you live in now because you said in the past the apt you live in now is the one you were born in...

Huh? No comprendo

No Harry Potters
Birth of a Nation--and probably never will, since I've hears it's so racist.
Never saw the Barbie movie. I basically love movies and have seen most of the most famous ones. I do think that at this point it is a more or less dead art form, with nothing but superheroes, sequels, cartoons, etc. We thought about going to a movie this weekend but there is absolutely nothing worth seeing at any theater.
That's always true at this time of year--summer, they just want to appeal to teens.

It seems to me that it's true all year round. The "big" movies 50 years ago at this time included Shampoo, Godfather Part II, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore, Dog Day Afternoon, and others. There were definitely some bad films but nothing like today.

It's actually much worse than I thought. Other movies that came out in 1975 included Jaws, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Three Days of the Condor, and too many others to list. We really have seen the decline of an art form in real time.

I've seen everything mentioned here except, Harry Potter, 50 Shades of Grey and The Passion of Christ.

Just in the past two years I've watched 139 old pre 1950 movies, ( I started keeping a list) most were made in the 1940's. Some were blockbusters at the time. That's my comfort food of entertainment.

The action and super heroes movies I see on TV while my husband is watching. Does it count if you don't pay much attention?

My pastor tried hard to get us all go to The Passion of Christ, but I straight up told him I didn't like Hollywood's version of Jesus, in fact I find it sort of blasphemous.

I actually watched the Barbie movie and it was... cute. I wouldn't call it great, but I had some fun watching it. It helps that I'm a fan of Margot Robbie.

oh my goodness! so many.....Gone with the wind, six days seven nights, platoon, french kiss, the horse whisper, Titanic, (5 times in a theater), the last samurai, blackhawk down, the Bishops wife, (original), you've got mail, the American president, three days of the condor, fried green tomatoes, the pelican brief, the deer hunter, the bourne identity, (all in the series). I can think of more but I'll slow down. None of the above will leave you wanting more at the end of the evening. There are more but these are my favorites.

I thought I'd seen most major movies, but looked up blockbusters in the last ten years and found I've missed several. Several I don't really have interest seeing.

Inglourious Basterds
ZombieLand
Tropic Thunder
Life of Pi
Hugo
Super 8
Fast Fall 007

Are any of the above really considered blockbusters, though? Meh.

I would say no...

I think a Blockbuster means a movie most have heard of, and which has taken mega millions of $$££ at the box office,
