What makes you feel good?

May seem like a very general topic and it IS. So many answers...

What makes me feel good is my coffee after a few cups and also seeing that the weather is getting better day by day and today may be 70 F! Woo hoo.

Listening to my favorite music makes me feel good, too, as well as a good shower or bath...:sentimental:

Gardening. The best 'feel good', but only done in traveling, is mountain hiking. If you've not hiked up past 10,000 feet, I don't have the language capacity to describe it.

Wow, souds really fun~Haven't hiked up that much so I've yet to experience the Awww.

Dance. It's my therapy and it always makes me feel good!!
Digging in the dirt does too, when it's not too hot. Right now is the perfect temperature for gardening.
Sitting by the water, listening to the birdsong and the water sounds.
Contact with my man...just sitting close on the couch feeling the warmth that emanates from him.
Challenging hiking. Not just walking a trail, but climbing over rocks and tree limbs, traversing muddy or slick paths, pushing through underbrush.

I feel good when I'm out enjoying nature, sharing space with beautiful majestic wildlife, cool mountain breezes, skies at night filled with stars and no artificial light around for miles to ruin it, the ocean, etc. Enjoying the outdoors with my hubby and furkids makes it extra special.

It's always that little sweet spot of contentment when everything is just right.

When the bills are paid
the refrigerator is full
the apartment is tidy
the laundry is done
the gas tank is full
the sheets are fresh
the dishes are done
the floor is mopped
and I've got an extra twenty tucked into my sock! :):playful::eek:nthego:

When I get to the top of a sixty foot oak, look around at everything around me, taking in the 360° view, and know that I'm seeing things that no person has ever seen before.

I love twilight time when dinner and the dishes are over, and I finally settle into the recliner with something good on TV and my dog in my lap.

Getting together with my friends once a week for dinner out, or a drink, or a game in one of our party rooms. (Tonight it's Rummicub.) There are 5 of us, and we call ourselves the Ladies' Night Out group.

Also, listening to music that I love.
Spending time with any of my grandkids.
Settling in with a good new TV series; there are some great ones streaming now, no commercials.
Enjoying a good book.

Besides eating anything sweet, hearing someone laugh because of something I said or did. Several of my elementary school teachers can attest to that.

watching my cats romping about '
buying furniture i love
new decor '
knowing my son is ok ...

Dancing makes me feel great~

For me it's a properly executed IRS form 4797. It has always been a favorite of mine
LOL, yes~

A Jacuzzi Tub after a nice long workout at the gym makes me feel really good.
Sounds so soothing~

i use to love taking care of my yard--cutting grass and planting flowers--that made me feel good
Nice~

Seeing my doggie in a playful mood.
Cool~

Oh yes~

I love twilight time when dinner and the dishes are over, and I finally settle into the recliner with something good on TV and my dog in my lap.
Oh yeah~

Settled into my favorite chair with my fuzzy throw, a hot cup of coffee and a good book. Ahhhhh.

Yep~

I never liked yard work. I felt really good when I bought a condo townhouse and gave away my lawn mower.
Okay, cool~

I like anything that gets me out of the house, and making some progress on yard work, gardening, logging, etc. Being housebound for more than a day or two, because of bad weather, etc., is almost depressing.

What really boosts me, however, is when we go to the casino, and I come back with more money than I left with.....it actually happens, once in awhile.

I feel good when all that I planned to do in a day gets done, which happens rarely. Being outside doing yard work in the early spring and fall before and after the heat and humidity hits. Having my family together for dinner then relaxing when I finally get the meal served and we sit around the table for hours chatting.
