I get as nervous as a one-eyed cat at the dog pound when I think about falling. (That wasn't mine: that was Stephen King's.)I get as nervous as a cat with a long tail in a room full of rocking chairs when a police car is behind me.
that's me... I'm pedantic about not being late... and I hate others being late for a meeting with me...Being late
Something on my calendar, anything at all, from a doctor's appt (little bit nervous) to a party (very nervous.) My only regular event is my monthly book club meeting and even after 20 years, I never sleep the night before.
The club has a Christmas party every year and I quit going because of all the anticipatory anxiety. Just last week my friend called me a Grinch for not going, so I told him I would go this year. I've already had two sleepless nights over it.

We have Eastern Diamondbacks here in my area. We also have Copperheads. I was bitten by a Copperhead (it was id’d by the Scoutmaster) while hiking with the local Boy Scout Troop back in 1971. We didn’t have cellphones back then, so the Scoutmaster sent another Scout down to the Fire Watcher’s Post to call for help. The Fire Watcher returned with the Scout and he told me he called for help.Yes, THAT makes me nervous. I keep my eyes peeled and ears tuned. I really should get a pair of snake leggings.
