My dad lived to 95 and a half and he was peed off when in effect they wanted him to die and he knew lt. Getting old didn't trouble him one bit. He might say, try it, you might like it.

Well, my first professional job was in DC, on the second floor of a building, but because of security measures the stairs on the first floor going upward were locked off. I had to take the elevator to the second floor every day! 😁

At least it was a short ride. But oh, the irony.

I do understand and it's not so much the height but the closed in feeling. I worked for awhile on the 5th floor of an office buiding. I was by the elevators waiting to go down when suddenly the door opened up and there was a woman on her belly heading for the door. She didn't look so good so l decided to call 911 right away.When l got back she was out and looked okay. l cancelled 911'

Same with my mother who died at 97. Blind, stone deaf, hard to get around, but didn’t want to die. I’ve tried old age 😂, I’m ready to leave it behind-DNR/DNI.
