This is what was listed for Kansas:

Rock supergroup Kansas is from -- you guessed it -- Kansas, and "Home on the Range" was written in and about Kansas in the 1870s and is now Kansas's official state song. In the early 1900s, Kansas hosted a vibrant jazz scene, rocketing local talents Charlie Parker and Nora Holt to stardom. Rock star Melissa Etheridge, R&B phenom Janelle Monae, and country icon Martina McBride also hail from the Sunflower State.
 
As far as artists from Arizona, Stevie Nicks one of the more famous one. Charles Mingus was born in Nogales. And Marty Robbins was born in Glendale. While not born in Phoenix, Alice Cooper has become an adopted Phoenician. Some on the forum might recognize the bands The Meat Puppets, Gin Blossoms, and Jimmy Eat World.

However my own personal favorite artist from Arizona is someone I have been in love with since I was in high school 🥰

Omigosh, I detest that song. When I was at Disney World with my father and the kids about 12 years ago, we went on it, very unwillingly on my part, and I seriously wanted to throw myself overboard by the end of the boat ride.

That's why the water is shallow under the boats.....they try to cut down on the drownings. People have been known to have to throw themselves off the boat several times in order to drown.

If I'm ever told I have one week to live, I'm going on that ride. Five minutes in there will feel like a month.

All kidding aside, sometime within the last year a guy DID jump off the boat and wrestle with one of the figures. I'm pretty sure he was acquitted....
