What One Simple Thing Makes You Happy??

I"m a pretty simple guy I guess but when my bladder and bowels are working properly I'm one happy guy.

The day after my last day at work, and every day since, no longer being a member of the rat race made me and keeps me a very happy camper indeed . Having said that, I can also appreciate the observations, or comments, made before mine . Kudos to Ruth n Jersey, I rarely accomplish everything on my list, I'm happy if I just accomplish one thing on my list. Being retired though, there's always tomorrow, well, while I'm on the green side of the grass anyway !

OK, don't laugh but my closet makes me happy. I have the closet of my dreams. Just the right size (not too big, not too little) with lots of built-ins and I don't have to share it with the Spousal Equivalent, who has his own......much inferior in my opinion......closet.

I told him if we ever split up, I get custody of the closet.

Dammit, I SAID don't laugh!

Not having to have a list ( unless it's for shopping) I do what needs done when I feel like doing it ... especially housework !

Before my forced retirement, I would have said being on the job. Now, however, since I am retired, it's (Hmmm, can't think of any one thing. I would be ecstatic, if I could go back to work.) I guess fishing is still somewhat enjoyable, but I would be much happier if I was flying.

Sitting on the porch in a rocking chair with my husband. We do this almost every day. Sometimes we sit out back instead and look at the mountains. We watch our dogs and talk and laugh about them. That's enough for us.
