This is what it's like trying to talk to kids these days.

They're yappin away at me and I'm thinking to myself...wth are they talking about?

If you think about it, though, every generation has had its own slang words/terms/expressions.. and that's not even counting regional slang.

Good luck in Australia - everyone uses this term for children

Just about everybody uses it here too January. Since I have no intention of getting on an airplane again, I don't have to worry about hearing it in Australia.

.'Sometimes I'll say my child when referring to my son , who's 57 (usually in the context of something funny having been said), but mostly I call him by his name or say my son.

i have to google everything just to talk to them. LOL
