Anyone remember this one? I found it a few years ago and it reminds me of a young lady I almost married. The song is way before my time, but the song is very reminiscent for me. Maybe some older posters would remember it. Was it popular?

It came out in 1959. I was only 6 years old, but I remember hearing it on the radio and various tv shows that I would listen to and watch with my grandmother. I know it sounds kind of dorky, but I think songs from the 50's were romantic.

One year of love by Queen. It reminds me of my wife who passed away. It makes a strange liquid form in my eyes.

I read a short bio about the singer. His genre is Rock-A-Billy. That’s new to me. He has anothe pretty good ballad titled “What In the World’s Come Over You.” You’re right that a lot of the songs in the 50’s were ballads. I think because it was the Doo Wop era and the street corner singers sang a lot of ballads.
