reality shows? How "real" could anybody be while being followed around by cameras?

And Real Housewives...anybody ever catch any of those shows? There's nothing real about them. They're Ladies Who Lunch, Ladies Who Dine, Ladies Who Behave Badly and Ladies Who Drink to Excess. I use the term "ladies" loosely.

I've never watched the Karadashians because I never had the smallest interest in keeping up with them.

Naked and Afraid. C'mon. Really?

How many reality shows about Alaska do we need?

Ugh.

Wouldn't it be nice to have cable or satellite that had a menu to choose from? We could just pick the channels that we want and only have to pay for those.

Rant over. Back to our regularly scheduled programming. Carry on.

Reality my foot! They're all staged and all the same format; cameras everywhere and too many close ups.

I'd rather watch 2 Men & a baby and I hate that show with a passion. I can't hit the power-off button
fast enough.

I have a "friend" (online) who,I think, has been signed to do a reality show (she can`t really announce it yet). I have "known" her for about 8 years, from a pregnancy and baby forum. Her baby ended up being stillborn at 41 weeks of pregnancy. She weighed 12 lbs.8oz-yikes. Anyway,I followed her story at the time and have continued to. She did have another baby, and the decided to make a life change. She weighed close to 300 pounds and decided, for her kids as well as herself,to lose the weight. She lost over 140 lbs. doing,of all things, hulahooping. She did diet as well but mainly it was the hooping. Then her husband got involved and lost even more than her. They both became Hoopnotica instructors and have appeared on the Today Show and The Doctors and (I think) Dr. Oz. They live this crazy life (now have 3 kids),all are homeschooled and they travel all over the Country. I don`t watch reality shows ordinarily but I will watch theirs-or at least check it out.

I gave up all cable service last year. When I had it, with about 900 stations, I watched maybe 2. What a waste of money.

I'm a fan of The Big Bang Theory too, and also on CBS .. Amazing Race, Survivors and now Big Brother again.. all freebies I can watch with an antenna. It works for me.:)

So called 'reality' shows, are staged for maximum effect and there is nothing much 'real' about them, imo. I have no interest in them.

As long as tv watchers buy the cable package with several hundred station, there will always be idiots who will pay for it.

I wish I owned a cable company, I'd go after the 3 day old newborn to subcribe to my cable.
