What Things in Life Make You Feel Good and Bring You Happiness?

I feel happiest when I've helped a neighbor or friend in some way. It can be simply changing a smoke alarm battery, or if they don't have a computer, looking up something for them on my cell to answer them immediately. Or, going with them to a dental appt. Or, listening to them speak of an anxiety, and putting a positive spin on it.

It makes me feel they have given me a gift, too.
Sounds so corny, but that is what makes me happiest lately.

Me too, helping someone else was my answer too.

Planting those "smile seeds" always brightens my day!

In no particular order:
It really doesn't happen much anymore, but laughing with my wife.
Playing guitar with a good band.
Riding my motorcycle AWAY from town.
I have one friend that is so in tune with me that we can't avoid laughing whenever we're together. She's 22 years younger than me and married. LOL!
Firing up the smoker and doing ribs or brisket. I like cooking in general.
I love animals and we've never been without a dog for very long - but we are pup-less right now. The last one was too painful.
I used to love fishing - but I haven't done it in years.
Going somewhere I've never been and seeing something I've never seen.

Wednesday night poker club night. We call it a poker club, but it’s not really a club. I enjoy going over to the Smithsonian and spending a few hours. I also like to watch the TV show Mighty Planes and Mighty Trains on the Smithsonian Channel. Going for a walk and talking to the neighbors. If it’s on a weekend, I might join in on a soccer game with the local brats in the local park. Actually, they are good kids. I played a lot of soccer in the military.
