What time is it?

At the top of each post that someone writes is the time it was posted. However, that time never matches my own time zone. I'm curious; what time zone is that time stamp referring to?

Just to mark this time (after the 'minutes ago' thing), I'm saying it's Sunday 5:37 pm at this posting, here in the PNW, USA

You can set your timezone on your preference page: click on your avatar/username at the top right corner, then select Preference.

If your actual timezone doesn't give you the correct time, try one hour earlier or later.

Sunny, check your personal settings. There should be something somewhere that allows you to set for your own time zone. We are both eastern, and mine says you posted at 6:40 PM
