What Type of Laundry Detergent Do You Use?

For stains or shirt collars, I spray with a mixture of ammonia, water, and dish soap, and brush area lightly with a toothbrush, then put in the washer with the cheapest liquid laundry detergent I can buy, which is XTRA, nothing else.

When my clothes dryer stopped working sometime ago, I bought drying racks to use temporarily, but when I discovered that clothes dried on the racks within 4 hours anyway, I never got the dryer repaired.

Any stains are prepped with Resolve stain remover. There’s one with Oxyiclean for spots on white. I also have a laundry soap bar to scrub spots on fragile fabrics.
I use Eco Max unscented laundry liquid.
White vinegar in the softener dispenser.
Three alpaca dryer balls in the dryer. I keep them in a lingerie bag so they don’t pick up fluff or get beaten up. They last for years and aren’t noisy like the rubber ones.
Anything that shouldn’t go in the dryer goes on racks or is hung up.

No more plastic! I don't use anything in the dryer.
those dissolve and don't plug up the washer?

I've been using Arm & Hammer liquid detergent for my dark and white clothes, for years. For my linens and light colored clothes I use Oxyclean powder. For both the lights and the darks, I add ammonia. For the whites, I use Clorox bleach. I usually use Kirkland (Costco brand) liquid softener. It's the only liquid softener I like the scent of. If I forget to add it, I use Kirkland softener sheets....again, love the fragrance.

Tide regular liquid...never the whole cap full.
Clorox bleach .....always on the towels.

Nothing in the dryer.
