Years ago at my former residence, a neighbor had a Manx cat named Porkchop.

I once leased a mare from a woman…her registered name was “poco bucky 2”. The woman would actually come to my pasture fence and yell “poco bucky 2oooo” untill poco came.

In the 1980s I had a gray and white angora cat I called Boozie. I can't remember why, though.



I painted her picture on a wooden plank.



When I had her spayed and brought her home, I opened the carrier and she promptly ran up a tree. I said to my mother - Imaging a human woman coming home from having a hysterectomy and climbing a tree.

Well, there was short-haired feline of the sort we in Canada call a "ginger cat', and he was the pet of a couple in the neighborhood. First they called him Kitten Caboodle, but later they renamed him Agent Orange.

When I was a kid my parents got a French poodle and named him after the French restaurant Tujaque's in New Orleans. Tujaque was the best dog I ever had . The previous dog was named LBQ (Lyndon Be Quiet) but I called him Lindy. He didn't stay quiet and didn't last long.

Back in the 80s I was doing cat rescue and I got a feral, but she was sweet. Older and had several litters. I had her spayed and named her Bootsie Rootsie Tootsie. She stayed with me till she passed.
