What was/is the most funny/ridiculous/odd name for a pet you ever heard?

I knew someone with a parrot named Bob. And my friend has a dog named Steve.

We added a six month old shih-tzu to our family of three dogs, had her for two weeks trying to find an appropriate name. Feeding time was always interesting. One evening, my husband put down her bowl of food and she scarfed it down in a hurry! He said to me, "She eats like a little Hoover." Yep, that was her name from then on.

When we acquired a second shih-tzu, her name was Kirby. Had to continue the line.

Adopted this current shih-tzu and broke that pattern (Electrolux just seemed too long). His name is Little Guy because when I walked up to him at the shelter, I said, "Well, hello there little guy." It stuck. I considered "Jack" because he has only one eye.

Neighbor's Old English Sheepdog is named "Hoss", for obvious reasons.

When my maternal grandmother went into assisted care, my mom took in her cats - a buff, a white and one that had an almost metallic copper-colored coat. We re-named them, respectively, Honey, Sugar and Penny.

In the 1960's we had a white with tabby patches female cat that had 5 kittens. The first born was all gray except for a white dot on his chest. All the others looked like mom. We called the gray one Mouse because when born he looked like a little mouse.

There was Tippy, my late Aunt's dachshund when I was very little.
I knew a Digger .. guess what he was known for ;)
Midnight was a black lab.

Sultan was a big, beautiful Samoyed.
Laddie was my mixed-breed dog. Lassie was very popular on t.v. when I got him.
Moe was short for Moses. He was our first black labrador.
Mackie was renamed .. he was our black lab rescue.
Mika was my sister's Japanese Spaniel.
Abbi is our daughter's Corgi. She turned 9 this past winter.
