What was the last "Book Series" you read?

I am currently reading the second book of Terry Pratchett/Stephen Baxter's, The Long Earth series.
1 - The Long Earth,
2 - The Long War,
3 - The Long Mars,
4 - The Long Utopia,
5 - The Long Cosmos
The "Long Earth" is a name given to a possibly infinite series of parallel worlds that are similar to Earth, which can be reached by using an inexpensive device called a "Stepper".
The "close" worlds are almost identical to "our" Earth (referred to as "Datum Earth"), while others differ in greater and greater details.
All share one similarity: on none are there, or have there ever been, Homo sapiens - although the same cannot be said for earlier hominid species, especially Homo habilis.
Enjoyable read so far

Sue Grafton's Kinsey Millhone series and the first five of the Maisie Dobbs series.
I've read all of Kate Atkinson's and Tana French's books and some have the same characters, but I'm not sure if you would call them parts of a series.

Long ago I read The Clan of the Cave Bear series.

Your picks sound very good, Bretrick. I should read more science fiction, it's usually so mind expanding.

Not the most recent, but one I really enjoyed was Mazo De La Roche's "Jalna" series... set in mid-19th century Ontario, Canada... epic of the Whiteoak family. Very Downton Abbey.

I don't often read series of books since I gave up reading fiction years ago.. but I would say the most recent Non Fiction series was a good while ago.. Simon Garfield 'we are at war ''..5 diary accounts over a series of books giving true accounts of people who lives and worked at home while the war was on...

The last series I read was the Charles Finch's Charles Lennox mysteries. I found them to be excellent! Anxiously waiting for the next book in the series to come out. Thank you again @CinnamonSugar for the tip. :)

I'm currently slogging my way through Agatha Cristie's Poirot series. Not terribly impressed, but it's something to do.
