What was the last item you lost?

Last month, my wallet with all my id, credit cards, medical cards and including library card it was a nightmare replacing everything. I still have to replace a couple more items, so no, never found it. Sigh.

While gardening last spring I lost a sterling silver ring right off my finger.
It was loose and I should have taken it off and left it in the house.
Looked and looked for it but never found it.

The last thing I lost was a *list* of the things I lost and the exact times that I lost them. There are so many of them, I have to keep lists like that now. ;)

Seriously, the last thing was a pair of needle nose pliers to remove some staples. I found them just after I removed the staples with a screwdriver.

A Wax Cast Gold Pinky Ring with a beautiful Imperial Jade stone. Lost right here in my apartment. I have searched high and low off and on for two years.

My hearing aides which were in my ears. I put them in so mindlessly each day,for some reason I thought I forgot to do it and went looking for them. You would think I'd check there first instead of ripping the whole house apart. That was more than a senior moment.

Oh April, that's awful--was it stolen? I had my wallet stollen when I was younger. I was in a phone booth and set it down on the shelf. Walked away and when I realized it, I ran back but it was already gone. What a pain dealing with replacing the cards!

My glasses. I have several pair but couldn't find these. Yes, found them but had to look for another pair so I could see to find these-ha-ha.

About three years ago, we remodeled our bathrooms. Going to have a number of strangers in our home as contractor crews, my wife put a lot of things "out of site". One of the things she hid quite well was our safety deposit box key. Three years later, we have never been able to find it. It's in a red envelope, but still undiscoverable. We even offered our granddaughters $50 to find it. They couldn't. We opened every drawer, cupboard, cabinet, cup, canister... turned the home upside down. Had to pay the bank $125.00 to have the box cored and an new lock installed. One would think that in this amount of time, we would have happened on to the old key. Nope! I guess wherever she hid the key, it's in a safe place!!!!!! :>)

I haven't any idea what happened, but, knowing me as with many a missing item of mine, I probably knocked it off the table into the trash. I was going to check the trash, but, the sanitation people had already come and taken it away. I've had to fetch my phone out of the trash before, so, I wouldn't put it past me. :( To be safe, I had to cancel all my cards. Not fun at all.

Thank you for asking. :)

I think I accidently rolled up (in a paper towel) and threw out a fork after lunch at work. It was a thrift shop find but with a cool cutout design. I still have two other pieces in the pattern.

My mom's wedding ring. I had been wearing it since she handed it to me in the hospital decades ago. It slipped off my finger someplace in town and was nowhere to be found. Made me very sad to lose it.

Lost my right hearing aid last Friday and can't find it anywhere. Apparently it came loose in my ear and simply fell out somewhere. Not to worry, I have several sets of old ones and found one that seems to work fairly well.
