What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

Last night on Turner Classic Movies, I watched my all time favorite actor, Gene Hackman in
The French Connection' 71 hadn't seen it in years,He plays Detective' Popeye Doyle',along with his partner' Det Buddy Russo"{Roy Schneider} as NYC narcotic detectives who stumble upon international heroin ring and try to stop it.It had one of the most amazing car scenes ever filmed. Gene usually did most of his stunts, really couldn't tell if it was him or his stunt double in the car others in the cast:
Fernando Rey,Tony Lobianco, Eddie Egan,Sonny Grosso The movie won 5 Oscars inc picture,director{William Fredkin} actor{Hackman's 1st Oscar},screenplay/editing

Not a movie really. It's a Netflix series. Wrong Side of the Tracks.
Not sure why I started watching it but I did and thought, "I don't know about this." But, I started getting into it and it got better and better and now I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
Language, a little nudity in context, but really good.
A grandfather protecting his granddaughter while battling a cartel. Set in Madrid.

I watched 'Your Highness' last night. I seesawed between OMG this is a stupid gross movie and enjoying it. It was surprising that the f-word was used freely and it was surprising to see a ***** wielded around in a movie (a cut-off minitaur's ***** but looking just-like aside from being gray), but it was funny and the women in the movie were refreshingly empowered, in particular the look one gave the guy when he was trying to poke the minitaur's thingy in her face. Yes, just so!

Bird Box is streaming on Netflix now. It’s a 2018 apocalyptic horror movie that has elements of A Quiet Place plus The Walking Dead in it. The scenario is that invisible alien presences have invaded the world that when seen drive people to commit suicide. Survivors beholding the entities if they do not commit suicide emerge mad, and are compelled to try and get others to look at the entities, which are described as “quite beautiful.” Might there be a political metaphor intended, hmm? Sandra Bullock plays the lead character, surviving with others in a house who can venture out only if blindfolded.

The film’s title derives from the fact that birds can alert people to the presence of the invisible destructive entities, and a box of them is carried by Sandra Bullock’s character as she escorts two children on a perilous journey to safety. Although quite strange and disturbing, the film is well-acted and worth seeing IMO…

Is Heaven For Real?
About a boy who dies for a few moments on the operating table and goes to heaven. When he relates the experience to his parents, they don't know if they believe him or not, but are blown away by him knowing things he never should have known.

The Quiet Man - 1952
John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Victor McLaglen, Barry Fitzgerald.
One of Wayne's best movies in my opinion. 10/10 :)
The Pub Scene in The Quiet Man
I agree that this was one of his best movies. The other movie he made that was very good was In Harm's Way. We have both of these and watch them often when nothing else is appealing on Netflix or Prime.
