What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I liked both of those movies.

I just finished watching Mountainhead (Max; 2025; 1 hr., 48 min); pretty good, very timely.
I've heard good reviews about Mountainhead. I don't know what the last movie (as in, feature-length, fiction film) I watched was. Must be months ago, even years. I've watched several lengthy non-fiction pieces and some might even have fictionalised sections in them, and also watched sketches, short films etc., but the last movie? I don't know.

I watched the documentary about Pamela Anderson on Netflix and enjoyed it...I too come to this thread to find good movies often....I appreciate it.
Thanks for the tip, Jackie. I haven't seen the documentary, so looking forward to it.

Presumably you've seen The Last Showgirl (2024). Anderson gave the performance of her career. Jamie Lee Curtis was stunning as well; and Dave Bautista did a fine job as the revue's producer. IMO one of the best films so far of the 2020s.

I was searching for this movie on Netflix when I ran across the documentary....later found the movie on Hulu....will watch it later.

Always a fan of Pam Anderson. Girl crush.

I just got back from the theater after seeing The Thunderbolts. I've been putting it off in spite of good reviews, because I've been disappointed with almost everything Marvel has done after End Game. And the trailer didn't stir my interest at all. Stan Lee died and Marvel was turned over to Disney. Disney puts out some good stuff but they have no understanding of what Marvel's magic was. I don't know if Stan Lee's death made a difference or not, but Marvel took on the Disney appearance of the Magical Kingdom, which doesn't work with super heroes.

But I was very pleasantly surprised this afternoon. I don't know if this begins a shift back to what made Marvel marvelous, or if Disney just did something right by accident. But this felt like a Marvel film of old.

Project MKHexe (2025)

I watch every "found footage" I find. I love the genre, even though the majority of them are really poor. It's just a thing I have.

Anyway, this was overly long, the narrative was too slow, and at times it was unreasonably stretched out. I can't recommend it to anyone else, but to a genre fan like myself, I had a decent time.

Good to know. Thank you. :)

I feel the same on more recent MCU movies too, but enjoyed Thunderbolts quite a bit as well!

Updated: "Blood on Satan's Claw" (1970), so I've now seen all three of the Unholy Trinity of folk horror - that, "The Wicker Man" and "Witchfinder General."

Anora. On Hulu. Over 2hrs, 20min. which went by quickly. I was never bored. Not sure if I liked movie or not. @ChiroDoc did you see it? What is your opinion? As you people know I am having trouble with speaking and writing so I'm sorry I can't give a more in depth view.
I'm not sorry I saw it so that must be a plus.

The Adventures Of The Wilderness Family 2

I would not recommend it as a good movie, but it is so bad it was actually entertaining for a bunch of us to watch. A 1978 family movie that is unrealistic beyond one’s wildest dreams. My daughter and her husband had just watched the first movie and said it was just as bad (good). If you like MacGyver hair and friendly wild black bears, this is the movie for you. Kind of like Old Yeller on steroids.
