What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

I started watching this today and only expected to watch one episode. Ended up binging the whole season. It's real good. I don't have Hulu, I got it from one of my free movie sites.

Thank you for the recommendations. I put Santa Jaws on my Prime watch list and, The Requin is available with a free trial of Moviesphere so I might catch that one at some point. :)

I'm guessing you've seen, 47 Feet Down and Open Water?
Yes, I love both of those! Open Water freaks me out every time. Even without the sharks it seems so terrifying to me.

If you do end up watching Santa Jaws and/or The Requin, please share what you think!

Golden Eye on Amazon Prime. This movie was so frickin' stupid, we got 2/3 of the way through and decided that was enough. I thought it might get better as the plot unfolded, but it just got dumber and dumber.

IMDB ratings are worthless any more. Golden Eye was rated 7.3 on IMDB. I'd give it a 5.0.

Are you talking about the 1995 James Bond film with Pierce Brosnan?
There are a couple of films with that name.

Tomorrow is Friday 11/14, so am thinking of the 1:15pm $7.50 showing at a theater just a mile walk away of, Predator: Badlands, since its now quieted down after a week.

I do see myself watching a TV movie this evening, for the first time in weeks, as a 2011 repeat of the 1982, Conan The Barbarian, is listed for 8:48pm. Didn't even know there was a repeat for one of Schwarzenegger's finest films? Maybe the first film I've seen with Jason Momoa, a celebrity I see in Entertainment news headlines but know nothing about.

Mr Burton - The story of the wild school boy Rich Jenkins, son of a boozy miner, and the English teacher who recognised his talent

A heartwarming, true story about Welsh actor/film star Richard Burtons rise to fame

Per above, did not get to watch Conan The Barbarian as the channel weirdly only had the audio with no video. But today did spend $7.50 at a theater on Predator: Badlands. Have seen at least 3 of that franchise's movies. Was reasonably modestly entertaining, but very different because it was so CGI oriented. Lots of rapid battle actions in dim environments. I'm not a video game player so not used to the heavy CGI effects. Thus felt more like watching say some of the latter heavy CGI, comic book like, Star Wars movies, I was luke warm over. Very little science orientation.

I watched the movie Anthropoid this evening on Paramount+. It was the second time I saw it and it was even better the second time around. This movie is intense!

In case you haven't seen it, it's about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich -- one of the principle architects of the Holocaust.

Ed and I are watching “Driving Miss Daisy“ I’ve seen it several times, but I always laugh at the maid’s lines… (on meeting Hoke— the chauffeur) “ I wouldn’t be in your shoes at the sweet Lord Jesus himself came down and asked me.” 😆😆😆

I used the Pluto app. to watch the movie called School Ties this morning.

It's about a Jewish boy who enrolls in an all boy high school in his senior year in order to get into Harvard later.

He meets with prejudice from some of the others.

I enjoyed this movie very much. The acting is very good.

Great app use it all the time

Boyfriend and I watched, Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter this afternoon. Neither of us had seen it. Absolutely loved it, the cinematography and the story. Boyfriend is British so I quick-explained Harriet Tubman, Jefferson Davies, and others to give him a deeper experience with the story. Great movie.
