What was your favourite subject at school?

English...closely followed by Business Economics....altho' I did enjoy Social studies..

There was only one business economics and typing class in the whole of my school, and I was in it...

Hated all art, and Science classes... just couldn't draw ,or understand anything about science, and I had 6 sciences , and 2 art classes every week... I especially detested Physics.. I think my physics teacher just decided I wasn't worth spending any more of his time on..

I liked all my classes, but I do recall looking forward to French classes because our teacher was a character. She was short, and could not reach the top of the chalkboard to erase it (from a previous class), so the tall kids would go and erase it for her (grinning all the time). She would tell us hilarious stories of her time in France, and on one occasion, we dressed up to play the parts of characters in a French story and had to read our lines in French. Loved it!

Actually took a semester of typing in high school
Helped me in many ways in college and in my adult life ... and even today as I type this reply
Got up to 60wpm but the VERY cute girl at the desk in front of me was a 90wpm gal
Neither fast by any means but not bad for a semester just starting out on an old manual typewriter
At the time, alls I knew was the gal in front of me was 2yrs older and f.i.n.e. fine
I looked forward to that class EVERY day :ROFLMAO:

One of the subjects of which I paid very little attention at school was Geography class..

The teacher was a tweed jacket, knitted tie wearing bore.. I don't even think he liked the subject himself, he certainly had no enthusiasm for it.. and so I disliked it enormously.. and having never travelled in my childhood either, that didn't help me enjoy it any more...

Today in my older age.. having travelled extensively.. in a General knowledge type quiz I will always choose the Geography questions first...
