What was your favourite topic at school?

Mine was Home Economics. That is where my love of cooking began

Aerospace. It was actually ground school for private pilots. Half the class would not complete as it was tough. I was not a good student in school. Skipped a lot of classes, but in the end I received an A+ for this course.

If we're talking up through high school, the only class I can remember fondly was industrial design. I didn't really hate any of the others. They were just something I had to do.

I loved Home Ec most... but just the cooking part, not sewing. Next was English/Journalism. Third was history... but no matter how many lists I'd make, math would always be last, guaranteed.

English is what I excelled at... and dance...

My horribilis was physics.. and sewing, I couldn't do either... the sewing teacher couldn't care less whether I could or not.. but the physics teacher was at his wits end, I don't think he believed he couldn't actually teach anyone his scientific passion...

History for me too .... I hated sport, especially athletics ... I could never ever manage to get over the hurdles so just ran them down and always came last.

Oh and I hated having to sing in the school choir.

History depended completely on the teacher. Memorizing wars and dates without any interesting stories was a bore. I liked biology and earth science, art and English. French was fun for the first two years. Then my attention wavered.

My very favorite was music appreciation. It was only one year but we got to listen to classical music during first period. And the teacher was excited about the subject and could generate enthusiasm.
